Ayres Lakeside Retreat

Come enjoy the leisure of lakefront living at Ayres Lakeside Retreat! This house is a true gem, just steps from the banks of Monte Verde Lake, featuring huge outdoor decks, a cozy interior with a mountain lodge feel, and all of your favorite amenities, from a wood-burning fireplace, outdoor gas grill, fire pit, hot tub, and more. All this just steps from the lake and the 1-mile trail that borders it. This house comfortably sleeps 13 across 3 bedrooms and has 3 full bathrooms, making it ideal for multiple families traveling together, or one larger group of friends. The house is fully stocked with everything you might need for your stay, from coffee pots to hair dryers, paper towels to washing machine detergent, we thought of it all! BEDROOMS/SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: The top floor bedroom sleeps 7 with 1 queen bed and 5 twins as well as a full bathroom with tub and shower. There is also a loft space outside this bedroom, great for relaxing away from the group or giving the kids their own space to roam. The first floor has a main suite with a queen bed, and attached bathroom with shower only, as well as a queen bedroom with a set of twin bunks. There is also a full bathroom with tub and shower on this level. Bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with pillows, linens/blankets, towels, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash, hair dryers, and hand soap. LIVING AREAS: The living room is a cozy gathering spot in the larger great room area. An open plan connects the living room with the kitchen, and dining room, so even if you are relaxing, you are still part of the action. Curl up around the wood-burning fireplace and play cards, or enjoy a meal together at the dining room table. The living space opens up to the large covered deck area with plenty of places to unwind and enjoy the great views. KITCHEN/DINING Creating and eating meals together is another way to create great family memories and this home provides everything you need. Our kitchen features stainless appliances, a stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee makers (regular and Keurig), blender, and crockpot. All plates, glassware, baking/cookware, pots, pans, and utensils are provided. In addition, we have a cabinet with olive oil, flour, sugar, and spices to get you started. On the covered porch you'll find a gas grill for your use. For dining, you have the choice to gather all together around the table seating 8-9, or to split between the table and 3 kitchen barstools. ENTERTAINMENT INDOORS: We aim to provide the ingredients for everyone to have fun and be entertained while inside Ayres Lakeside Retreat. There are smart TVs with access to streaming services in each of the bedrooms, as well as in the main living space and the upstairs loft. The living room TV also has cable access and a Blu-Ray DVD player for use with your own DVDs. ENTERTAINMENT OUTDOORS: Picture yourself grilling on the deck, relaxing on the swing, or enjoying an evening of smores around the firepit. This home has a huge deck where you can enjoy coffee or cocktails while taking in the view or unwinding in the hot tub. Walk right out your door in the summer and hike around the lake. Rent a paddle board or canoe, go fishing with the little ones, or enjoy the rock climbing wall or trampoline. Lakefront living has it all! LAUNDRY We have a full washer and dryer in the house for your use and we provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets for your convenience. PARKING AT THE HOUSE: There's one word to describe getting to our house and parking there – EASY! We are right off the main road in Angel Fire and an easy short jaunt around the side of the lake. Our driveway is flat and so easy to get in and out of in the winter – our circle drive allows all of your family's cars to easily enter/exit our property. No 4WD needed to get to this house! Please note - The garage is not available for renter use at this time. For your protection and ours, we have a security camera that monitors the exterior entry points at the front of the house.
