Hiking in Camina Real, Carson National Forest - Just outside Taos, the Camina Real offers 252 miles of trails on diverse terrain for the skilled hiker to explore. Learn more here or with the AllTrails App.

Golf at Angel Fire Country Club - open through 11/1 - Come tee off at 8,600′ on Angel Fire's par 72, 6,653-yard, 18-hole golf course surrounded by the majestic southern Rocky Mountains.

Disc Golf at Angel Fire Mountain Resort - open through 10/16 - Enjoy amazing mountain views and challenge yourself to 18-holes of disc golf. The course is located at the summit of the mountain and is free with the purchase of a lift ticket.

Hiking at Angel Fire Resort - Have a more advanced group of hikers looking for a challenge? Hit one of the mountain resort hiking trails including Overlook, Enlightenment, and the Summit Trail.

Downhill Mountain Biking at Angel Fire Bike Park - open through 10/29 - Angel Fire Bike Park is the largest in the Rockies and voted Best in the Southwest 7 years in a row. Come experience 2,000+ vertical feet and 60+ miles of purpose-built, lift-served terrain, some of the best the US has to offer!

Guided Hunting Expeditions with Nancy Burch and Road Runner Adventures - Roadrunner Tours has been providing guided hunting expeditions for over thirty years. Elk Hunts are the most popular type of hunts in Northern New Mexico, but other large or small game hunts are available.

Scenic Chair Lift Rides at Angel Fire Resort - open through 10/27 - Ride the Chile and experience Angel Fire like never before! Lift rides take you to the summit at 10,677 feet where you can enjoy breathtaking views. We recommend bringing a packed lunch to enjoy on the deck of the Summit Haus before riding or hiking back down.

Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Train Tour - open through 10/19 - Travel some of the most spectacular scenery in the Rocky Mountain West and take in the magnificent fall colors. At 64 miles in length, this National Historic Landmark is the longest, highest, and most authentic steam railroad in North America!

Hiking at Angel Fire Resort - No height requirements here! The Angel Fire sledding hill is a perfect way for your little ones to enjoy the snow. Located at the Nordic Center just outside the Country Club.

Drive the Enchanted Circle - Experience the best of New Mexico's high country on this 85-mile loop. Home to exquisite views, abundant wildlife, and brimming with photo opportunities. This drive can be a perfect activity for a cool weather day.

Fishing and Boating at Monte Verde Lake - open through 10/27 - A beautiful spring-fed, high-mountain lake in the heart of Angel Fire. Stop by and enjoy boating, paddle boarding, hiking, fishing, or just relaxing on the shore. Please note that swimming is not allowed.

Guided Fishing Tours with Eagle Nest Fly Shack - Have an alpine fishing adventure you won't forget! The guides at Eagle Nest Fly Shack are happy to provide custom experiences tailored to your skill level, desired species, and goals. All necessary gear is provided! Lake tours through November until the lake starts to freeze, river tours still provided.

White Water Rafting with New Mexico River Adventures - open through 10/20 - Whether you’re looking for a wild whitewater run through the Class IV rapids of the world-famous Taos Box or a scenic float through the azure canyon of the Rio Chama, New Mexico River Adventures has a river trip for you and your family or group.

Hiking Angel Fire's Greenbelt Trails - The Angel Fire Resort Nordic Center offers over 12 km of groomed, classic, and skate cross-country ski trails. Snowshoeing is also allowed on these trails.

White Water Rafting with Far Flung Adventures - With 45 years of outfitting under their belts, Far Flung Adventures is ready to outfit your family for the river adventure of a lifetime. Offering half-day, full-day, white water, and scenic floats, they have something for every group!

Hot Springs at Ojo Caliente - Steeped in tradition, this historic spa is one of the oldest in the country, offering a wide variety of mineral healing waters and spa services. Soak your soul in nine communal hot springs, or book a private tub for a truly tranquil experience.

Tennis & Pickleball at the Angel Fire Resort Tennis Center - Head over to Olympic Park and try your hand at your favorite racket sports. Open May - October, the Angel Fire Tennis Center has six hard courts including six pickleball courts and an on-site tennis pro.

Hiking in Questa District, Carson National Forest - Adventure seekers and sightseers alike will enjoy guided snowmobile tours. Bobcat offers a 2-hour guided tour on a private ranch. Helmets are provided. Bring your snow gear! Suits, boots, and goggles can be rented
