We pride ourselves on our attentive communication and quick response times, so if you need anything during your visit, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re always happy to help. ________________________________________ BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS Log Cabin Hideaway comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests across three bedrooms and a dedicated kids’ bunk area. Main Floor: •Primary Suite with king bed, TV, and attached bathroom •Shared half bathroom Upstairs: •King bedroom with TV Lower Level: •Kids bunk area with 2 sets of bunks and TV •Queen Bedroom with TV •Full shared bathroom All bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with pillows, linens, blankets, towels, shampoo, body wash, hair dryers, and everyday essentials. ________________________________________ LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT The main floor serves as the heart of the cabin, with a welcoming living space centered around a wood-burning stove and comfortable seating for gathering together. Upstairs, a loft sitting area provides another cozy place to read, play games, or relax with a movie. The lower-level bunk area gives kids their own dedicated space, making it easy for everyone to enjoy time together — or apart — as needed. ________________________________________ KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is fully equipped for shared meals and family cooking, featuring stainless steel appliances, cookware, bakeware, and both regular and Keurig coffee makers. Starter basics like spices, olive oil, and pantry staples are provided. The dining table seats six to eight, with additional bar seating for four, making it easy to gather everyone together for meals, games, or planning the next day’s adventures. ________________________________________ OUTDOOR SPACES The wrap-around decks are one of this home’s standout features. Enjoy a coffee or soak in the private hot tub while taking in the surroundings. Under cover on the front deck you can cook up meals with the propane and charcoal grill, or make a fire in the fire pit. We provide wood for both inside and outside, so you can enjoy. ________________________________________ ENTRY, LAUNDRY & PARKING Entry is simple with a keyless front door. Inside, you’ll find a closet and boot mats to make settling in easy after outdoor adventures. A laundry room with washer, dryer, detergent, and dryer sheets is provided for guest use. The driveway provides ample parking near the front of the home. Please note that the garage is not available for guest use. Due to the steep and secluded mountain setting, AWD, 4WD, or tire chains are strongly recommended in winter and should be considered required. ________________________________________ SECURITY For your protection and ours, exterior security cameras monitor the front and rear entry points of the home. ________________________________________ NEED MORE SPACE?   • Angel Fire Country Club - 6.3 Miles The club is open to the public with golf, basketball, tennis, pickleball, a playground for kids, a fitness center and pool, and restaurants for dining. 

  • Monte Verde Lake - 5 Miles Stocked lake great for fishing and boating in the summer. Boats and paddleboards are available for rental. Also a great hike around the lake!

House Rules

RENTAL AGREEMENT - As a part of the booking process you are required to sign a rental agreement with Mountain Serenity Rentals. This will be sent to you via a link requesting further information to complete your booking. SECURITY DEPOSIT - As part of your booking, you agree to a $500 security deposit. We do this by putting a hold on your credit card for that amount 1 day before you arrive and it is released 3 days after you depart (if you use a debit card then that amount is withdrawn from your account). It is fully refundable if there is no damage and if you’ve adhered to all house rules. PETS - Some of our properties are pet-friendly as indicated in the property listing information. If you are staying at a pet-friendly property, you must still let us know prior to your stay. Please note, that all pet-friendly properties have a cap of two dogs unless you have prior written authorization from us. If you bring pets without permission or to a non-pet-friendly property, the penalty is $300 SMOKING – Smoking is not permitted at any of our properties. If we find evidence of smoking or vaping, the penalty is $300 TRASH – There is no trash pick-up service at the house. You are responsible for disposing of your trash at the local trash/recycling center. If you leave any trash behind, the penalty is $25 per bag left behind. OCCUPANCY – You agree not to exceed the occupancy limits included in the listing for this property at any time during your stay. If you exceed occupancy limits, the penalty is $500 EXCESSIVE CLEANING – With your booking, you paid a cleaning fee. Understand that this is for general cleaning of the property, washing linens/towels, and resetting the property for the next group. If you leave the property in need of excessive cleaning, the penalty is $200 MAIN CONTACT/MINIMUM AGE – The main contact for the reservation must be at least 25 years of age and is legally responsible for the compliance of all guests and occupants with all rules/policies associated with this property and all applicable laws pertaining to the use and occupancy of the short-term rental unit. At least one adult over the age of 25 must always be present at the property if any of your group is at the property. Failure to comply may result in the termination of your reservation and require you to vacate the property without a refund. NOISE & LIGHT POLLUTION – Guests agree to maintain reasonable noise levels and limit light pollution in accordance with Angel Fire Village and NM Dark Sky policies. According to Title 5, Chapter 28-3, Owners or Occupants may be cited or fined for Unreasonable Noise, and in accordance with Title 9, Chapter 7, Ordinance 9-7-8 all exterior lights must be extinguished by 11 pm. SEPTIC SYSTEM – Please only flush toilet paper down the toilets. If a plumber is required because anything other than toilet paper was flushed down the toilets, the penalty is $300

Cancellation Policy

One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
