Modern Treehouse is a beautiful mountain home, making you feel like you are high in the trees, while actually in a cozy modern oasis just a few miles from town. This home has a contemporary feel, stunning views of the valley and mountains, and all the modern amenities you love. Relax on the rear deck nestled in the trees and enjoy your morning coffee, or cozy up next to the modern gas fireplace in the main living space. Looking to play outside? You're just a 1-mile drive from the ski resort, and 4 miles from the golf course, country club, and Olympic park with tennis courts, pickleball, and more. We do highly recommend vehicles with 4-Wheel Drive for accessing this property in the winter months, as the roads to the house are some of the last to get plowed. The house comfortably sleeps 6 across three bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and private bathroom. All the bedrooms are on the main floor, so no stairs are required for anyone to enjoy. This home is perfect for 2-3 couples traveling together, or a family with adult children. At Mountain Serenity Rentals, we believe you deserve all the things you need for a great stay, and don’t want to nickle and dime you for them. Our homes are stocked with firewood for fireplaces and fire pits, propane for gas grills, detergent for laundry machines, and all the basics for kitchens and bathrooms, from coffee pots to hair dryers! We've thought of it all! If you are ever missing something during your stay, don’t hesitate to reach out! BEDROOMS/SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Modern Tree House has 3 bedrooms, all with king beds, and all on the main floor, making it perfect for folks who don't want to climb stairs to get to their bedroom. There are 3 full bathrooms all attached to their respective bedrooms providing a very private setting for every guest. Bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with pillows, linens/blankets, towels, shampoo and body wash, hair dryers, and hand soap. LIVING AREA: The home has a lovely open floor plan with a central living area that is connected to the kitchen and dining area. This allows your group to spread out after a day of fun while still being able to stay engaged and connected while you cook, eat, and relax. The furniture here, is new, modern, and comfy, as is this home generally. There is also seating on the deck at the rear of the house immediately adjacent to the main living area. This area features several couches and chairs to curl up with a book, coffee, or beverage while you enjoy the impeccable views. KITCHEN/DINING Creating and eating meals together is another great way to create great family memories and this home provides everything you need. Our kitchen features stainless appliances, a gas stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee makers (regular and Keurig), blender, griddle, and crockpot. All plates, glassware, baking/cookware, pots, pans, and utensils are provided. In addition, we have a cabinet with olive oil, flour, sugar, and spices to get you started. Also, in the attached garage is a gas grill with a spare propane tank in case the primary runs out. There is a dining room table that seats 6 immediately adjacent to the kitchen. Additionally, there are barstools at the kitchen counter if you prefer for a quick coffee or snack. Additionally, on the rear deck, there is a small pub table and chairs for part of your crew. LAUNDRY ROOM The house also includes a full laundry room with a washer and dryer. The laundry comes equipped with detergent and dryer sheets, in case your adventures get messy, or you want to clean up before packing to go home! ENTRY You can enter the home from either the front door or directly through the garage. Entering the house from the front door you are in the main entry hall where you will find rubber mats for boots. Entering through the garage you go right into the side hallway where there are also rubber mats. Immediately adjacent to each of these entry hallways there is the main hall closet where there is ample room for coats, jackets, and additional gear. PARKING/GARAGE: When you get to the house, we have a short but sloped driveway that you can park in. Additionally, you are welcome to park in the attached garage. Because of the secluded/private setting 4 wheel drive vehicles are required/highly recommended in the winter as the final streets to the home are some of the last to get plowed after new snow falls.

  • Angel Fire Country Club - 3.7 Miles The club is open to the public with golf, basketball, tennis, pickleball, a playground for kids, a fitness center and pool, and restaurants for dining. 

  • Monte Verde Lake - 4.8 Miles Stocked lake great for fishing and boating in the summer. Boats and paddleboards are available for rental. Also a great hike around the lake!

House Rules

RENTAL AGREEMENT - As a part of the booking process you are required to sign a rental agreement with Mountain Serenity Rentals. You will be walked through this process when you go to book. SECURITY DEPOSIT - As part of your booking, you agree to a $500 security deposit. We do this by putting a hold on your credit card for that amount 1 day before you arrive and it is released 3 days after you depart (if you use a debit card then that amount is withdrawn from your account). It is fully refundable if there is no damage and if you’ve adhered to all house rules. PETS - Some of our properties are pet-friendly as indicated in the property listing information. If you are staying at a pet-friendly property, you must still let us know prior to your stay. Please note, that all pet-friendly properties have a cap of two dogs unless you have prior written authorization from us. If you bring pets without permission or to a non-pet-friendly property, the penalty is $300 SMOKING – Smoking is not allowed anywhere on this property. If you smoke anywhere on the property (including vaping), the penalty is $300 TRASH – Angel Fire does not provide trash service, so all guests are responsible for disposing of their trash at the AF trash/recycling center. If you leave any trash behind, the penalty is $25 per bag left behind. OCCUPANCY – You agree not to exceed the occupancy limits included in the listing for this property at any time during your stay. If you exceed occupancy limits, the penalty is $500 EXCESSIVE CLEANING – With your booking, you paid a cleaning fee. Understand that this is for general cleaning of the property, washing linens/towels, and resetting the property for the next group. If you leave the property in need of excessive cleaning, the penalty is $200 MINIMUM AGE – At least one adult over the age of 25 must be always present at the property if any of your group is at the property. If this is not followed, the penalty is $500 SEPTIC SYSTEM – Please only flush toilet paper down the toilets. If a plumber is required because anything other than toilet paper was flushed down the toilets, the penalty is $300

Cancellation Policy

One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
